During my internship at KG Media, I had the chance to learn from every department—discovering how each team operates and contributing through small but meaningful tasks. It was a fun experience, including writing this blog. I am really excited to share my experience in this format.
Discovering Marketing from Every Angle
Throughout this experience, I had the opportunity to explore marketing from multiple perspectives, including Google Ads, Social Media strategies, SEO, Analytics, and AI-driven tools.
By studying Google Ads, I developed an understanding of the mechanisms behind ad placement, bidding, and audience targeting.
While studying Social Media marketing, I learned what an ad should look like to have the best effect—not only on the audience but also on the company.
My introduction to SEO provided insight into how search engines rank content and how optimization strategies can enhance online visibility.
Furthermore, analyzing marketing performance deepened my understanding of data interpretation and the importance of evidence-based decision-making.
Finally, exploring AI showed how new technologies can make marketing more efficient, support creative work, and improve results. Overall, this comprehensive exploration enhanced my understanding of digital marketing.
Expanding My Vocabulary and Industry Knowledge
Before this internship, many media and marketing terms were either unfamiliar to me or ones I had only heard before. However, working on my tasks allowed me to see how these terms are applied in context and supported my learning through practical examples.
I not only expanded my professional vocabulary but also learned numerous phrases and expressions commonly used in the industry. These new terms are valuable for professional communication and will also be very useful in my future studies.
In general, this experience significantly improved my language skills for future use.
Supportive Team and Environment
What stood out most during my internship was the strong sense of teamwork and everyone’s constant willingness to share advice, feedback, and creative ideas. Every team member was approachable and eager to help, which created a supportive atmosphere where learning felt natural and enjoyable.
I especially appreciated working with Nikola, who specializes in Google Ads, and Filip, who focuses on Analytics—both of whom were not only great professionals but also really fun to work with. Then there’s Dario, who helped me understand what SEO is and all the basics, and Bruno, who took the time to explain Social Media marketing in detail, which I really appreciated.
And my mentor, Martina, was an amazing guide throughout the internship—always supportive, encouraging, and ready to offer advice. Together, they made the experience both educational and genuinely enjoyable.
Conclusion
My experience at KG Media was a meaningful step in developing both my professional and personal skills. It gave me the opportunity to explore marketing from every angle, combining theory with practical experience. Beyond technical skills, I also broadened my professional vocabulary and industry knowledge.
